Our Mission

We are proud to announce AHRC Suffolk’s official rebranding as People’s Arc of Suffolk. This new name reflects our organization’s ongoing commitment to creating a more inclusive, community-driven environment where people of all abilities can thrive.

We are excited to step into this next chapter as People’s Arc of Suffolk. Our new name reflects the heart of what we do—placing people first in everything we offer. This isn’t just a name change; it’s a renewed commitment to addressing the challenging and changing needs within our community.

We will continue providing a wide array of services, including employment opportunities, education programs, and community engagement. The new name also aligns with the recently opened People’s Arc Performing Arts Center of Northport, a major step in expanding the creative outlets available to people of all abilities.

Mission

We create communities where people of all ages and abilities enjoy life to its fullest.

Vision

To create an equitable and integrated community for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Values
