Children’s Services
We achieved a monumental milestone in our journey towards inclusivity this spring as we unveiled our new disability-accessible playground at our Saul & Elaine Seiff Educare Center. This custom-built playground is specifically adapted to meet the needs of our students and their staff. Since it’s grand opening in May, students and staff have been enjoying the fresh air and exciting equipment on this state-of-the-art playground.
Adult Day Services
We proudly announced the Grand Opening of our newest facility, People’s Arc Performing Arts Center of Northport, a new theatrical approach to services for people with autism and other developmental disabilities. Using performing arts disciplines in music, theater, dance, and digital art, community teaching artists, clinicians, and Direct Support Professionals work collaboratively to guide people in exploring what matters most to them.
Residential
Several of our residences received significant upgrades this year. There have been major interior renovations like kitchen renovations, exterior projects like remodeled decks, new fences, repaved driveways and more. Safety renovations were also a priority with upgraded fire protection systems and ramps.
