We Have a NEW Fully-Accessible Playground!

AHRC Suffolk proudly celebrated the grand opening of the Saul and Elaine Seiff Educare Center playground, marking a milestone in our commitment to providing a nurturing environment for the children we serve.

AHRC Suffolk proudly celebrated the grand opening of its new Saul and Elaine Seiff Educare Center playground with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by families, friends, children, and local legislators recently on May 17, 2024. This momentous occasion marked a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for the children we serve.

The event was a joyful celebration filled with laughter, excitement, and heartfelt speeches. Families, friends and all the students and staff at the school gathered to witness the unveiling of the state-of-the-art playground, designed to support the physical and developmental needs of children in our community. The new playground features inclusive play equipment, sensory-friendly spaces, and safe, engaging areas for all children to explore and enjoy.

John McGuigan, Chief Executive Officer of AHRC Suffolk, expressed his gratitude, stating, “Today is a testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared vision. This playground is more than a place to play; it is a symbol of our commitment to fostering froth, inclusivity, and joy for every child in our care. We are deeply thankful to the New York State Empire State Development Grant for their unwavering support.”

Thank you to all our supporters for making our dreams a reality! We have officially PAVED THE WAY FOR PLAY and have completed phase one of our playground project!
