AHRC Suffolk proudly celebrated the grand opening of its new Saul and Elaine Seiff Educare Center playground with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by families, friends, children, and local legislators recently on May 17, 2024. This momentous occasion marked a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for the children we serve.
The event was a joyful celebration filled with laughter, excitement, and heartfelt speeches. Families, friends and all the students and staff at the school gathered to witness the unveiling of the state-of-the-art playground, designed to support the physical and developmental needs of children in our community. The new playground features inclusive play equipment, sensory-friendly spaces, and safe, engaging areas for all children to explore and enjoy.
John McGuigan, Chief Executive Officer of AHRC Suffolk, expressed his gratitude, stating, “Today is a testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared vision. This playground is more than a place to play; it is a symbol of our commitment to fostering froth, inclusivity, and joy for every child in our care.
